About

Playdates Soft Playlounge provides an inclusive and safe space for all families to bond over social and therapeutic activities, while creating treasured memories together. Playdates provide early childhood developmental services to all infants and toddlers, but also provides specialty services to those who are developmentally delayed, and or are at high risk for developmental delays. Our playlounge caters to infants and toddlers who are mastering tummy time, sitting, crawling, and first steps in a secure environment. We also provide an online preschool, early start preschool sessions, self-determination program services through regional centers, and community events.

Owner

Playdates is led by Jacqueline Butler, who brings 17 years of experience from the education field. She holds a B.A. in Family and Consumer Sciences, is Credentialed in Early Childhood Special Education, a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant and a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. She has experience within private practices and school districts in Northern and Southern California. This diverse experience has given Jacqueline a holistic understanding of child development and motivated her to develop Playdates as a resource for families and a space for children to grow.

Mission

At Playdates, our goal is to offer top-notch care and foster a caring and encouraging environment for children, parents, and our talented staff. We design engaging and educational play-based activities that cater to children of different abilities, personalities, backgrounds, and cultures. Our inclusive approach focuses on the overall development of each child, aiming to enhance their learning experience. We strongly believe in the importance of teaching children the value of diversity and inclusion from a young age.
